This is to announce the hosting of the “2nd Biennial Faculty of Natural Sciences Conference” by the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, Oyo State, Nigeria. Faculty of Natural Sciences was established in 2006 in Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, Nigeria. It is one of the Eleven Faculties domiciled in Ajayi Crowther University located in the ancient city of Oyo along Ogbomosho-Ilorin road. The Faculty of Natural Sciences houses six Departments, namely: Department of Biological Sciences, Department of Chemical Sciences, Department of Computer Science, Department of Earth Sciences, Department of Mathematical Sciences, and Department of Physics. These Departments are well equipped for Teaching, Learning and Research in the Sciences to enhance our National manpower and engender development of the society thus solving the current myriads of challenges.

The “2nd Biennial Faculty of Natural Sciences Conference” aims at harnessing and applying scientific research in Africa. It is expected that through this intellectual platform, innovation and sustainable development can be achieved in developing countries especially Nigeria.


The Conference Local Organizing Committee on behalf of the Faculty of Natural Sciences heartily invite both old and budding Scientists, Policy Makers, Research Institutes, Researchers and the general public to her 2nd Biennial Conference with the theme; ‘ACHIEVING SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT THROUGH SCIENTIFIC INTERVENTIONS’ scheduled for Monday 4th to Wednesday 6th April 2022 in the Multipurpose Hall, Modupe and Folorunsho Alakija Law Building, Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, Nigeria.
